Frequently Asked Questions
If you have booked via a 3rd party please refer to the original confirmation from that party for your cancellation and deposit terms. If you have booked directly with Dream Espana UK the following terms apply:
A deposit of 25% of the total accommodation cost is payable when booking. This is non–refundable in the event of any cancellation notification. We reserve the right to re-let the accommodation if the 25% deposit is not paid within 3 days of booking.
The balance becomes due 8 weeks before departure, and we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation if this condition is not met. For those Clients who book within eight weeks of their departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
A security / damages deposit of €250 is required. The card you use to pay for your accommodation will be pre-authorised to cover any breakages or damage up to €250. The card details are held securely by the PCI compliant payment processor. At no point are your card details held by, or visible to, Dream Espana.
Property owners are not worried about the odd smashed glass or broken cup. However they do ask that any breakages or damage should be reported to Dream Espana at the time they occur. This allows us time to fix or replace the item in time for the next guests arrival.
In the event of a more serious damage it is reasonable to expect a charge to your security deposit to allow for repair or replacement. If a serious damage or breakage is recorded after your departure you will be notified and your credit card charged up to €250 (euros).
If you have to cancel your holiday please send written confirmation from the lead member of the party to rentals@dreamespana.com.
Depending when you cancel you may be entitled to a partial refund of the accommodation cost, although the 25% deposit and other agent charges are non-refundable. Please refer to the terms and conditions for full details of the cancellation terms.
